VerifiedAbout
Private runners execute workflow steps on compute you own. This template creates the runner group, its IAM role and the autoscaling needed to pick up jobs from your StackGuardian organization.
Part of the StackGuardian template library. Deploy opens it in the platform with the inputs pre-filled; nothing runs until you approve.
Use cases
- Run workflows inside your own VPC so credentials never leave your account.
- Reach private endpoints, on-prem networks and internal registries.
Inputs
Inputs are shown in the platform when you open the template.
What it creates
How it runs on StackGuardian
Runs as a Terraform workflow: plan, policy check, approval, then apply.
Plan
Policy check
Approval
Apply
Approvals happen in StackGuardian. An agent can never approve its own run. Every run keeps its plan, policy results and approver in the audit log.
